We also minimize the risk to your rights and freedoms by not collecting or storing sensitive information about you.
Security of Data
Neither we, nor our Service Providers, will ever ask you for sensitive data, such as Credit Card information: with the exception of Stripe, which handles payments and recurring payments for our services, if you so choose to use that payment option.
Non-sensitive details (your email address, etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. We rely on our clients to notify us if there is a change to their personal information that may affect their relationship with our organization. If you are aware of an error in our information about you, please let us know and we will correct it on request wherever possible.
We protect client personal information in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of the information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information.
We will notify the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, without delay, of a security breach affecting personal information if it creates a real risk of significant harm to individuals.
We retain client personal information only as long as is reasonable to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected or for legal or business purposes.
We render client personal information non-identifying, or destroy records containing personal information once the information is no longer needed.
We use appropriate security measures when destroying client personal information, including shredding paper records and permanently deleting electronic records.

Scheduling and Contact
We use a combination of Calendly and Microsoft Teams to facilitate scheduling and communications with Clients. For form submission, we may use Google’s ReCAPTCHA service, or Automattic’s Akismet Anti-Spam to verify your human identity.
Calendly is a scheduling service widely used to facilitate online connection. When you go to our Bookings page, for instance, you can see an up-to-date calendar (well, hopefully up to date!) of available times for you to select from for us to meet and get to know each other.
When you book an appointment with us using this service, you submit your Name, email, and any optional details you provide. You will get email reminders of the upcoming meeting, and options to cancel or reschedule.
If you would rather not have your information processed through Calendly, you can always contact us directly.
For more information on the privacy practices of Calendly, please visit their Privacy Terms web page.
Microsoft Teams is, for our purposes, a video conferencing service we use for initial connection with clients.
You may be required to create a Microsoft Account in order to join, and optionally download software – although a browser client is available.
At your request, video calls can be recorded so that you can refer back to what was discussed, or the training that may have occurred. You will see a notification to request permission if that were to happen.
For more information on the privacy practices of Microsoft Teams, please visit their Privacy Terms web page.
We use an invisible captcha service named reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA is operated by Google.
The reCAPTCHA service may collect information from You and from Your Device for security purposes.
For more information on the privacy practices of Google, please visit their Privacy Terms web page.
Akismet Anti-Spam helps us manage bots and known spam comments. If you publish a comment on our site, some of your data may be crosschecked against this database.
For more information on the privacy practices of Akismet Anti-Spam, please visit their Privacy Terms web page.
You have an option of paying for our Services via Credit Card, which is processed using Stripe.
Stripe is an online payment processing and credit card processing platform for businesses.
When you, as a client, buy our service online, the funds need to be delivered to us. This is where Stripe comes in. Stripe allows safe and efficient processing of funds via credit card or bank and transfers those funds to the sellers account.
Stripes software includes both a payment processing platform, as well as a credit card payment gateway, and both are required in each successful online transaction– making it the most efficient and simple software to choose for online payments.
For more information on the privacy practices of Stripe, please visit their Privacy Terms web page.
